Giving Thanks for a Mysterious Substance

Writer: pamelahortonpamelahorton

“The revelation of the secret of water will put an end to all manner of speculation or expediency and their excrescences, to which belong war, hatred, impatience and discord of every kind. The thorough study of water therefore signifies the end of monopolies, the end of all domination in the truest sense of the word and the start of a socialism arising from the development of individualism in its most perfect form.” - Viktor Schauberger

Thanksgiving will be here soon and I am giving extra special thanks for something that is severely taken for granted….water.

Water is referenced over close to 700 times in the Bible; love is referenced 348, faith - 300, fear not - 365 and hope is referenced 316.

Water is one of the first substances mentioned in Genesis 1:2 “the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” Later, God proclaims, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”

Water also plays a central role in baptism and birth and through the amniotic fluid. When a baby is ready to come into the world, we hear that “my water has broken” before this precious new life is birthed.

I am inviting you to join me in offering appreciation to this special and mysterious substance for multiple reasons. Here are two of my favorite.

1. Water is life.

“Water enables the kind of highly delicate chemistry that makes life possible” - Phillip Ball, Science Journalist

Water sustains your life and the life all around you.

It is the critical element of our existence, both extrinsically and intrinsically.

Water is an extraordinarily powerful component of our health, involved in most of our body's chemical processes. The brain and heart are composed of 73% water and the lungs are about 83% water. The skin contains 64% water, muscles and kidneys are 79%, and even the bones are watery: 31%. Within our bodies, all organs work properly, mainly due to the presence of water.

It is also unique in the sense that it is the only substance that exists in all three states: liquid (Water), gas (vapor), and solid (ice). Water is almost the only substance in the universe for which the solid form floats in the liquid form.

Pause and think on this for a moment, every time you drop an ice cube into a drink; in front of you is a solid, floating on its liquid. Solid wax doesn’t float on melted wax; solid butter doesn’t float on melted butter in a hot saucepan and rocks don’t float on lava.

We know that there are three states or phases of water as mentioned above, but were you aware that a fourth phase has been identified?

Gerald Pollack, PhD, a Professor of Bio-engineering at the University of Washington, has been studying the physical make-up of water, and water’s utilization by the human body. Specifically researching the role of water in biological tissue and his discoveries could have a profound impact on our understanding of disease, healing, vitality and longevity.

He is best known as the discoverer of the “fourth phase of water” or “structured water.” The fourth phase is midway between ice and liquid in which there is organized molecule structure but the water remains warm and liquid.

Water bends all the rules. Water is a living being - it even has the ability to store memory and intelligently respond to human consciousness which brings me to my second favorite reason.

2. Water has a memory and it effects living beings.

Scientific discoveries have been made that show water responds differently according to the environment it’s in, people around it, the information it receives and the frequency or vibrations directly impacting it.

Once water comes in contact with other substances/environments, it changes the structure.

Water researchers and scientists such as Dr. Masaru Emoto, who spent his whole life researching water, and others like Dr. Wolfgang Ludwig, Dr. Carly Nuday and Veda Austin are helping us understand water in new ways.

Dr. Emoto found that water molecules actually change in response to different frequencies of sounds and energy - which are ultimately vibration. Because everything is energy, everything has it’s own unique vibration or tone. Every musical note, letter forming words, and the formed words themselves have their own unique frequency. You have your own unique frequency, tune and tone.

In his experiments, he exposed water to different music and words and then he froze the water to see what shapes the molecules formed.

He found that the molecules were either more or less harmonious depending on the frequency of the sound.

In other words, the molecular structure of the water changes according to the frequency, tone, or the vibe, it is exposed to. The water is the medium in which the frequency is expressed and exhibits the frequency in a dynamic pattern, either a coherent shape or distorted one depending on the frequency.

Have you heard of Cymatics before? Cymatics is the study of visible sound vibration, using water and other fluids to display the changing nature of sound, as well as, matter, like sand.

Water having memory is only the beginning of what makes water a remarkable element. Water has been proven to develop into beautiful water crystals based on intent and emotions.

I invite you to remember and deeply consider that you are made up mostly of water.

“Water is deeply significant to every culture and people all over the world. It is a universal medicine that responds to energy and emotion.” Veda Austin

“Further experimenting showed that water exposed to positive expressions like “Let’s do it!” created attractive, well-formed crystals, but that water exposed to negative expressions barely formed any crystals at all.” - Dr. Masaru Emoto

Have you seen the “liquid death” canned water? I won’t touch that with a ten foot pole. Would you knowing what you now know?

I’ve noticed personally a significant difference between when I consistently and deliberately engage with water positively and when I don’t. When I consistently, deliberately, gratefully and positively engage with water (including the water I am made up of) I feel and look better. I am more vibrant and productive. I take better control over my thoughts. It’s a difference between feeling burdened vs lightened. This is something reported by my clients as well. My clients who engage in a new loving relationship with water from the point of view of complete appreciation, enthusiasm, honor, respect and consciously acknowledging the truth, that we are one with water, create heart led, abundant and fulfilling lives.

These reasons and many more are why I choose to offer even more gratitude and give greater thanks to water this Thanksgiving Holiday.

Will you join me in offering love and gratitude for this liquid love, liquid intelligence, mysterious substance, we named water?
